Situated on the doorstep of Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, the South West Coastal Path, and directly opposite The Castle Inn Pub (recently voted UK's coziest country pub!), the cottage is presented in excellent order throughout, with cozy beams, inglenook fireplaces and original period features.
These characterful features add plenty of charm to this beautiful eighteenth century cottage.
The property opens into a small hallway, with storage space for shoes and coats. The living room is of a good size, and leads on to a well equipped country style kitchen. The cottage also boasts a spacious dining room.
On the first floor there are three immaculately presented bedrooms as well as a family bathroom with free standing roll top bath, separate shower, basin and WC.
The three bedrooms are all of an excellent size, with the master bedroom especially large for a cottage of this age. All of the bedrooms have hairdryers and storage for your clothes.
All of the beds are furnished with high quality linen and premium towels are provided for bathroom use.
The cottage is perfectly located for countryside living in a beautiful village, with convenient access to the coast, scenic walking trails, and West Lulworth’s amenities.
Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are all included. A high-quality travel cot, bed rail, and highchair are also provided in the cottage.
Pets
There isn’t any outdoor space or garden at the cottage, so, unfortunately, pets aren’t permitted.
Parking
The cottage does not have a driveway, but free street parking is available just a couple of minutes’ walk away.
Living Room
The living room is large and spacious, and the wood burner within the attractive inglenook fireplace provides a beautiful feature which serves as the focal point of the room. Guests are welcome to use the wood burner in this room. Entertainment facilities include a Samsung Smart television, DVD player with selection of DVD's, Bose Bluetooth speaker/soundbar and books.
Kitchen
The small country style kitchen is well equipped, with ample worktop space and fitted oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle.
Dining Room
A large dining room to the rear of the cottage is a real bonus in an older property, with plenty of space to accommodate the whole family at one large dining table.
Bedroom 1
Bedroom one: Super King
This room has beautiful wooden floors and is dual aspect, with a large amount of convenient built in storage. The room is of such good proportions that it houses a Super King sized bed, with award winning Emma Mattress. This room also has a TV.
Bedroom 2
Bedroom two: 2 x Single Beds
This considerable sized room has two single beds with attractive floorboards.
There is a travel cot and children's bed rail in the wardrobe should you require it.
Bedroom 3
Bedroom three: Standard Double
This room has a double bed with premium pocket sprung mattress, and has carpet laid with a window overlooking the front aspect of the property.
Bathroom
An exceptionally well proportioned family bathroom is also to be found on the first floor, and like the rest of the cottage, is tastefully decorated with high quality units. With ample space to accommodate the cottage’s striking free standing roll top bath it is ideal for family use, with a spacious shower unit, basin and WC completing the suite.
This room also contains the integrated washer dryer machine for clothes.
